I put together this playlist a while ago. It not only contains some of my favorite songs, but also comprises the types, styles, and themes of the music a girl I would like would be interested in. Of course, nobody really knows what they want. So I'm probably completely wrong about this.
Anyway here's the playlist:
"Clap Hands" (Live on SNL) - Beck
"Coin-Operated Boy" - The Dresden Dolls
"All I Want" - The Offspring
"Wounded" - Third Eye Blind
"Fidelity" - Regina Spektor
"Mercedes Benz" - Janis Joplin
"Mahna, Mahna" - Cake
"Ladies and Gentlemen" - Saliva
"Brainpower" - Freezepop
"Take Me to Heaven" - Hixxy
"Ride on a Shooting Star" - The Pillows
"Toxic Narcotic" - Britney Spears Vs. Empirion
"Ana Ng" - They Might Be Giants
"Dirty Little Secret" - The All-American Rejects
"Her Morning Elegance" - Oren Lavie
"Passion" - Utada Hikaru
"Tom's Diner" - Suzanne Vega & D.N.A.
"God of War" - Kabuto the Python
"Transformer" (both the slow and fast version) - Gnarls Barkley
"The Diary of Jane" - Breaking Benjamin
"Topless" - Breaking Benjamin
"Starbucks Girl" - Sean Barnett
"Headstrong" - Trapt
"Someone" - Earshot
"The General" - Dispatch
"Sinnerman" - Nina Simone & Felix Da Housecat
"Yoshimi Battle the Pink Robots Part 1" - The Flaming Lips

The Lord of the Rings Millenium Edition
I did some searching and found out that the version of the Lord of the Rings that I have been lusting over for many years is actually the hardbound copy of The Lord of the Rings Millenium Edition. If anyone can get this for me for Christmas I would be ecstatic!
I'm going to be posting the rest of my Christmas list here also. I think I did this last year. Whenever I did it, it worked wonders. All I have to do is rattle off the url when someone says "what do you want for Christmas?"
Of course, perhaps its getting to the point when I should be beyond Christmas lists... I mean, I'm pretty happy with what I have. I'm an "adult" now. I've always felt that Christmas is kind of a children's holiday. Not that I no longer view myself as a child (I'm definitely a forever-kid). I don't want to presume that people are going to get me stuff. I need to start making a reverse Christmas list... What do other people want? (This is rhetorical. You can comment with things you wish for if you like, but I will probably fail to buy Christmas gifts yet again this year... Don't be disappointed if you're all like "I want a pony!" and Christmas day comes and I didn't get you a pony. >_>)
P.S. I don't really think people read this blog, but I really couldn't care less. I'm doing it for my own damn benefit. Also note the lack of regular posting.
