One Day Out and Already Behind
So, I totally have the beginnings of all of this week's articles. Unfortunately I forgot my copy of the movie I'm writing about at my parent's place. My plan is to watch every movie again when I write about it. I didn't feel that I could finish the article without watching it.
I'll proly put up my self exploration piece sometime late tonight.

A Super Incomplete List of Movies I Saw One Time and Really Liked... I Think
Easy A
Adventureland
Zombieland
Sex Drive
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
Imagine Me & You
I'm thinking about picking up this blog again. I've never been one to stick with something for more than a few months at best. I guess I can add this to the list of hobbies I try out and abandon again on a regular basis.
In an attempt to actually try to write more than once a year I'm going to give my writing some structure. I'm going to break down my week as follows.
Mondays (In my opinion the week really starts on Monday) - Movies
Tuesdays - Self Exploration
Wednesdays - Books
Thursdays - Off Topic Ramblings
Fridays - Music
Saturdays - Video Games
Sundays - Lists
So on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays I will do reviews of my favorite movies, books, music, and video games. I will not write any negative reviews unless I feel way too strongly about something to keep quiet. After all, if you have nothing nice to say then you shouldn't say anything [/cliche]. Additionally its not fun for me to write about something I don't like!
On Tuesdays I'm hoping to do some self discovery. I already have a few topics lined up for this. I think this may shed some light on who I am.
On Thursdays I probably won't post most of the time. However, if there is something I need to say, and it hasn't been said in the regular topics I'll try to say it here.
On Sundays I will try to post a new list. My lists are generally just groups of things that go together. I have an idea for a web application that goes with my listing obsession, but I'm way too lazy to pull it off. I'll probably write about it in one of my off topic rants, or possibly as an inclusion in a future list. If the list falls under one of my daily topics, it should be pretty easy to predict what my next few posts for that topic will be about.
In an effort to make things more complex, I may be retrofitting self referential links to new posts into old posts. I will attempt to keep the content the same, but if I refer to a desire to make a post in the future about something, and then I actually do it, I will go back and add a link to the original statement. Since I probably won't stick with this for more than a week, I don't anticipate this being a problem. If you notice a place where a link would be specifically applicable you can let me know. Hopefully I will have updated contact info around here somewhere at some point.
Finally if you are reading this through Facebook I would encourage you to go to http://mustbetesting.blogspot.com/ instead. I hope to shed some light on why I don't like Facebook in some future rant.

The Songs of a Perfect Girl
I put together this playlist a while ago. It not only contains some of my favorite songs, but also comprises the types, styles, and themes of the music a girl I would like would be interested in. Of course, nobody really knows what they want. So I'm probably completely wrong about this.
Anyway here's the playlist:
"Clap Hands" (Live on SNL) - Beck
"Coin-Operated Boy" - The Dresden Dolls
"All I Want" - The Offspring
"Wounded" - Third Eye Blind
"Fidelity" - Regina Spektor
"Mercedes Benz" - Janis Joplin
"Mahna, Mahna" - Cake
"Ladies and Gentlemen" - Saliva
"Brainpower" - Freezepop
"Take Me to Heaven" - Hixxy
"Ride on a Shooting Star" - The Pillows
"Toxic Narcotic" - Britney Spears Vs. Empirion
"Ana Ng" - They Might Be Giants
"Dirty Little Secret" - The All-American Rejects
"Her Morning Elegance" - Oren Lavie
"Passion" - Utada Hikaru
"Tom's Diner" - Suzanne Vega & D.N.A.
"God of War" - Kabuto the Python
"Transformer" (both the slow and fast version) - Gnarls Barkley
"The Diary of Jane" - Breaking Benjamin
"Topless" - Breaking Benjamin
"Starbucks Girl" - Sean Barnett
"Headstrong" - Trapt
"Someone" - Earshot
"The General" - Dispatch
"Sinnerman" - Nina Simone & Felix Da Housecat
"Yoshimi Battle the Pink Robots Part 1" - The Flaming Lips

The Lord of the Rings Millenium Edition
I did some searching and found out that the version of the Lord of the Rings that I have been lusting over for many years is actually the hardbound copy of The Lord of the Rings Millenium Edition. If anyone can get this for me for Christmas I would be ecstatic!
I'm going to be posting the rest of my Christmas list here also. I think I did this last year. Whenever I did it, it worked wonders. All I have to do is rattle off the url when someone says "what do you want for Christmas?"
Of course, perhaps its getting to the point when I should be beyond Christmas lists... I mean, I'm pretty happy with what I have. I'm an "adult" now. I've always felt that Christmas is kind of a children's holiday. Not that I no longer view myself as a child (I'm definitely a forever-kid). I don't want to presume that people are going to get me stuff. I need to start making a reverse Christmas list... What do other people want? (This is rhetorical. You can comment with things you wish for if you like, but I will probably fail to buy Christmas gifts yet again this year... Don't be disappointed if you're all like "I want a pony!" and Christmas day comes and I didn't get you a pony. >_>)
P.S. I don't really think people read this blog, but I really couldn't care less. I'm doing it for my own damn benefit. Also note the lack of regular posting.

A Man Who Knows What He Wants
I am definitely not a man who knows what he wants. I can sincerely say that I don't have a single fucking clue what I want. However, I find it quite easy to determine what I don't want. The way I figure it, I can use the process of elimination to determine what I actually want.
Currently I know a few things that I don't want. I thought I would list those here. I will also list the things I have determined to be items I either probably want, or am not sure about yet.

- a redbull
- to be in school
- to play Magic competitively
- to be around negativity
- a girlfriend for the sake of having a girlfriend
- to be regarded as a loser (been there. done that.)
- to play SF competitively
- a girlfriend that I truly love
- to find a religion
- Go
- Unmentionables
